Powerful, Integrated Workflow: Viralheat Task Management

Workflow is an inherently tricky thing. Feedback from clients, conversations with business partners, and sales leads can all come from a dozen different directions, and it’s time-consuming to delegate, create accountability, and establish priorities for all of these interactions. With that challenge in mind, Viralheat’s Task Management features allow users to create, supervise, and manage tasks for your team members.
Since many of the tasks you’d like to assign start out from social media interactions, we’ve made it easy to create a task from a post you see in one of your Smart Streams. Next to each Stream entry, you’ll see a small drop-down menu. To assign this post to a team member, just click the drop-down, then click “Assign to…”. The window that pops up will allow you to assign this post to any team member, write a description of the task, assign a priority, and even a due date. You can also create custom tags for tasks (customer support, sales leads, complaints, PR…) to further segment different types of assignments. They can then go to the Tasks section to see what’s been assigned to them. From there, they can leave comments or questions, see and reply to the original post, and change the status of the task depending on their progress. As the task creator, you can view the Tasks section to see the progress of all ongoing Tasks. Since Viralheat allows you to manage much more than social media engagement, you can also create Tasks that are not associated with a single social media post. If you want to issue publishing assignments, schedule social media team meetings, or delegate assignments for a team presentation, Viralheat has you covered. Just go to the Tasks section, and choose “Create Task.” You can now manage all sorts of workflow functions in one place!
