What’s New With the Vocus PR Suite? Fall ’14 Updates!
This post was written by Vocus Senior Product Marketing Manager Brendon O’Donovan.
Today, we launched several new customer-focused features and services in the Vocus PR Suite as part of our fall 2014 update. These new offerings span media monitoring, reporting, professional services and PRWeb.
Without further ado, let’s see the great new features that have been added to the Vocus PR Suite!
Premium Content Monitoring
Vocus already monitors hundreds of thousands of online and broadcast news sites and millions of blogs and social media sites. Our latest updates give Vocus PR Suite users the option of monitoring premium content from LexisNexis and more than 60,000 international online news outlets and full print monitoring in over 100 countries.
LexisNexis is a trusted leader in media monitoring, providing coverage of over 21,000 full-text premium print outlets and premium online content (i.e. not available on the free web) from world renowned media sites like The New York Times, The Guardian and Fast Company.
With our new International Coverage feature, you’ll know where your brand is mentioned globally as we have added more than 60,000 online outlets across the world to our monitoring. Combined with Vocus’ industry-leading automated analytics and reporting, these new updates give you unprecedented coverage insight and intelligence into your mentions, your industry and your competition.
Daily News Reports
Vocus is also introducing full service daily news reports through our News Bureau Services. Each daily report is manually edited by an expert editor to your exact specifications and delivered to your team daily at the time(s) that you choose.
Our News Bureau Services give your daily news reports the greatest accuracy and highest level of relevance without sucking up your team’s resources.
In this world of big data, PR pros are often asked to prove the value of their work. To make your job easier, PRWeb has introduced new impact reports to better display the potential impact of your PRWeb release and to show you where your release landed, the total potential audience and the type and location of each outlet.
PRWeb has also added two features and enhancements based upon customer feedback. By a large margin, one of the most cited pain points of writing news releases is finding content ideas and relevant topics for your audiences.
PRWeb introduces new content topic recommendations to help guide you to write more on topic releases to better reach your target audience. The content suggestions provide ranked phrases to show alternate topics that your audience is reading about and searching for.
Once you’ve chosen your content topic, the newly enhanced Make it Better tool will help you do just that: make your release better. Once we know what you’re writing about, our interactive grader will give you real-time ratings and feedback on your news release to help improve your release’s visibility and traffic once released.
We hope you’re as excited about these new features as we are. To find out more, click here to talk to one of our PR Software Experts, or call your Account Executive today!
