State of the Media Survey Raffle
Eligibility: NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ENTER THE RAFFLE.
The Raffle is open to those individuals who are sent the Media Survey, are at least eighteen years old and legal residents of the contiguous United States or Washington, and respond to Media Survey by January 21, 2015 (“Entrant”). Employees of any federal, state, or local government are not eligible, nor are employees of Cision US, Inc., or its subsidiaries or affiliates
(“Sponsor”), advertising or promotional agencies, or anyone else involved in the development or fulfillment of this Raffle, or any members of the immediate family or household of such employees. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law or regulations.
How to enter: Between January 7, 2015 and January 21, 2015 respond to the Media Survey sent directly to you (provided by Survey Monkey) and providing your name, the name of the media organization you work for and your e-mail address in the submission.
Prizes: One Prize is available: an Apple iMac Air (configuration selected by Sponsor) approximate retail value (ARV) $499.00. Winner is solely responsible for the payment of all federal, state and local taxes and all other expenses or costs relating to the prize not expressly set forth above. Prize is non-transferable and no substitution by winner for cash equivalent is allowed. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Notification: The Winner will be selected by a random drawing by the Sponsor. The potential winner will be notified by email on or before January 28, 2015. The Winner must accept the prize by February 11, 2015. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. Sponsor will ship the Prize to Winner at the address identified by Winner. Sponsor is not responsible for any damage done to the iMac Computer during shipment. If a potential winner does not respond within the time period stated above, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. If any potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. The Winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where legal) a Publicity Release. Failure to comply when requested may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. The Winner must comply with his/her employer’s policy on acceptance of any prize.
Release of Liability: By entering, you release Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, employees, directors, and agents, including advertising agencies, from any and against any and all injury, loss or damage caused or claimed to be caused by your participation in the Raffle and/or the acceptance, awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of any prize, and you release Sponsor, and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, employees and agents, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Raffle from any such liability and agree that these entities are not responsible for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relating to any prize.
Additional Rules: Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or illegible entries. By entering, you: (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements; (ii) agree to be bound by the selection of the Winner, which is final and binding in all matters relating to the Raffle; (iii) agree to be contacted by e-mails, phone and/or mail by Sponsor and its subsidiaries and affiliates about Sponsor’s services; (iv) represent and warrant that you have the legal right to make your submission, and your submission does not violate any third party’s intellectual property rights; (v) agree not to submit anything that would be considered pornographic, obscene, defamatory, disparaging, or otherwise unlawful; (vi) assign all rights of your submission to Sponsor, allowing Sponsor to perpetually re-use, re-distribute, and copy your submission. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Raffle. Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any Raffle it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) to suspend, modify or terminate the Raffle if Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, that malfunction, error, disruption or damage is impairing or will impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Raffle. If Raffle is terminated early, Sponsor will determine the winner from all eligible entries received as of the termination date. Entry constitutes consent to the use of prize winner’s name, voice, picture and/or likeness without compensation for promotion purposes to the extent allowed by law. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the Entrant, any on-line entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account from which it was sent, provided such account holder must still meet the eligibility requirements for the Raffle. The authorized account holder shall be the natural person to whom the applicable email address has been assigned by the Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entrant agrees that any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Raffle, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action lawsuit. Under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Entrants and Sponsor in connection with this Raffle, shall
be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Maryland without regard to choice of law rules. Any suits related to this Raffle or these rules will be brought exclusively in the State of Maryland, and Entrant agrees to the personal jurisdiction thereof. For the name of the winner, send an email to email@example.com by February 28, 2015.
Entrant understands that any information collected through this Raffle is solely for the use of Sponsor.
LEGAL WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER OR VANDALIZE OR INTERFERE WITH THE OPERATION OF THE RAFFLE, IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
