WBZ-AM Reporter Mark Katic Passes Away

Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that Mark Katic of Boston’s WBZ-AM has passed away. Katic was a reporter investigating and covering a variety of topics. He joined the station in 1999 as a fill-in sports reporter on WBZ’s Bruins Broadcasts. He later became a regular weekend sportscaster and host on Calling All Sports and Sunday Sports Page. Prior to that, he worked at WHJJ-AM in Providence and also ESPN Radio. He has been recognized by the Associated Press for sportscasts, play-by-play and news coverage.
