Ed Silverman Leaving The Wall Street Journal
Ed Silverman will leave The Wall Street Journal on July 18, following a round of layoffs at the paper. He joined the paper in 2014 as a special writer, and had contributed to the Corporate Intelligence blog. He will continue to write his Pharmalot blog, which relaunched in June 2014. A prize-winning journalist, he covered the pharmaceutical industry for The Star-Ledger (NJ) for 14 years. He also spent six years as a business writer for Newsday and worked at Investor’s Business Daily, among other newspapers. Follow The WSJ health and biotech beat on Twitter.
