MSNBC’s VP of communications, Rachel Racusen, is heading to the White House where she will serve as Strategic Communications Advisor. Racusen has been with MSNBC for less than a year, and before that served as associate communications director for the White House’s communications team. She is being recalled to the White House to head-up long-term communications projects coordinating the White House’s digital team and incorporating outside groups.
