Coverage Changes at The New York Times
Matt Flegenheimer is changing his coverage at The New York Times starting September 2. He will move to the national politics beat covering the 2016 campaign/elections with a focus on Jeb Bush. Flegenheimer has been covering City Hall since late July 2014. Prior to this, he covered transportation since May 2012. Flegenheimer joined the staff as a metro reporter in June 2011.
J. David Goodman will replace Flegenheimer covering City Hall. He was most recently based at the NYPD bureau. Prior to that, he was a foreign rewrite reporter since August 2006. He was also a homepage producer from January 2008 to November 2010. Prior to this, he was topics producer from – . Follow The New York Times on Twitter.
