National Geographic Traveler’s Keith Bellows Passes Away
Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that Keith Bellows has passed away. He was 63. Bellows served as editor in chief of National Geographic Traveler for 17 years, winning the Kalliope Award for Lifetime Achievement in Travel Journalism. Prior to that, he served as executive producer of Excite. He was founder of the Media Development Group, Inc., which created print content for Disney. During his career, Bellows worked for many publications including Sports Illustrated, Reader’s Digest and ESPN. He also authored The Canuck Book and the 1998 Winter Olympics ACCESS Guide for ABC Television Network.
