Reuters has made several changes to the Washington bureau, starting with the appointment of Kevin Drawbaugh as bureau chief. Drawbaugh had most recently been serving as Washington editor and acting domestic policy editor-in-charge. Julia Harte and Julia Edwards will be covering the Justice Department. Harte is set to join Reuters next month, and was previously a national security reporter for the Center for Public Integrity since September 2014. Edwards is making an internal move, she has been covering the White House and legal affairs for Reuters since April 2014. Lindsay Dunsmuir joined the Washington bureau in January from the New York bureau to cover the Department of Justice and criminal justice. She will move into coverage of the Federal Reserve and economics. Lastly, Yeganeh Torbati will now be covering the Pentagon, national security and foreign policy.
