Here and Now Adds Staff
Mary Dooe and Micheline Maynard have been added at NPR program, Here and Now. Dooe was added last month as associate producer and comes from Innovation Hub on WGBH-FM where she served as a producer since February 2014. She has held a number of producing roles at NPR, and has also served as Associate Producer for Marketplace, and Production Assistant at WNYC Radio.

Maynard will join Here and Now in January 2016. She currently serves as visiting professor at Arizona State University where she also serves as the director for the Reynolds National Center for Business Journalism. She is also the editor in chief of Curbing Cars, and a contributing columnist for The Economist, Forbes.com, and The Atlantic Monthly. Maynard has previously held roles at Changing Gears, the Upper Midwest Local Journalism Center, The New York Times, USA Today, Newsday, U.s. News & World Report, Reuters, and United Press International. She is the 1998 recipient of the Nathaniel Nash Award for excellence in business and economic journalism.
