James Webb Out at Chicago Tribune, Amy Carr Promoted
James Webb has departed the Chicago Tribune after more than ten years at the paper. He is headed to Serafin & Associates on Jan. 4. Webb joined the Tribune in 2005 as the Illinois political editor, and was later named metro investigations and enterprise editor in 2010. Before joining the paper, he spent 18 years working for the Associated Press. Additionally, Amy Carr has been named associate managing editor overseeing features for The Trib. Carr joined the paper in 2013 as development editor, and was executive editor for Time Out Chicago before that.
