Staffers Retire at Erie Times-News
A number of longtime staffers have chosen to retire ahead of leadership changes at Erie Times-News, as the paper was acquired by New Media. John Guerriero has retired after 35 years at the publication. He was a politics reporter and blogger.

Joan Benson-Cacchione has left her position after 17 years with the paper, most recently serving as lifestyle assignment editor. Brothers Pat Cuneo and Kevin Cuneo have retired, each most recently serving as editorial page columnist and managing editor of features respectively. City editor Paul Corbran is also out after 37 years with the paper; Dave Richards has retired after 32 year with the paper most recently holding multiple roles as Showcase reporter and blogger for the associated Dr. Rock blog. Finally, Liz Allen has retired from the position as editorial page editor, a position she held since 2007. Prior to that, Allen was the adminstrative editor for Erie Times-News since 2000, and served as the lifestyle managing editor since 1996. She had been with the paper for nearly 32 years.
