Do not call. If I don’t get back to you the first time, I did probably read your e-mail but just didn’t have time to respond: I receive well over 200 emails a day in addition to having to report and write.
Seriously, don’t call me. And definitely don’t call my cell phone to pitch.
I do use Twitter to monitor breaking news, but I really, really don’t like receiving pitches via Twitter. I also will probably refuse your friend request on Facebook–I try to keep my personal and professional digital presences separate.
