Michael Shane recently made the jump from managing editor of Bloomberg News‘ online presence to global head of digital innovation for the outlet. In his new role, Shane will look for ways to grow Bloomberg’s audience, engagement and revenue. Shane got his start in the journalism world in 2011 at Vox’s The Verge, where he worked through the ranks from assistant to the editor in chief to photographer and then director of operations.
