WaPo’s Jerry Markon Moves On
Jerry Markon is leaving The Washington Post to become senior policy adviser to Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. Markon has been with WaPo since 2003 where he joined from The Wall Street Journal. He has most recently covered the Department of Homeland Security and has previously served as Justice Department reporter and federal courts reporter for the paper.
