POLITICO Loses Shane Goldmacher to NYTimes
Current POLITICO chief White House correspondent Shane Goldmacher is set to join The New York Times in July as chief political correspondent for the paper’s Metro desk. Goldmacher has been with POLITICO since 2015, and prior to that spent four years at the National Journal. He has also worked for the Los Angeles Times. Follow NYTimes on Twitter.
