CisionScoop: Alyssa Jung has been promoted to senior editor at Hearst Lifestyle Group, Health Newsroom, upped from senior associate editor. She edits and reports health content across the Hearst Lifestyle Brands—Prevention, Good Housekeeping, Redbook, and Woman's Day, and has been with the company since 2012. She also contributes to Reader's Digest.

CisionScoop: Inverse, the tech blog covering  emerging ideas and new technologies, has brought on Michael Cahill as head of audience; he will oversee content strategies and development. Cahill comes from Greatist, where he worked in a similar capacity, and prior to that he spent a year at Mic as VP of content. 

Katie Honan is the new City Hall reporter at The Wall Street Journal in New York. She was previously a reporter for DNAInfo New York and covered Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, Corona and the Rockaway peninsula  for four years. Prior to that, she worked as social media editor for WNBC-TV in New York. h/t Talking Biz News 

Bloomberg has made a couple of additions to its staff: Emily C. Dooley joined Bloomberg BNA as environment reporter focusing on California. She comes from Newsday, where she reported on the environment since 2010. Shira Stein was hired by Bloomberg Law as Medicare reporter. She was previously a metro desk reporter at the Washington Post.  

Amanda Eisenberg has joined POLITICO States as reporter covering healthcare policy in New York. Eisenberg was previously an associate editor for Employee Benefit News, and prior to that completed the Dow Jones News Fund Business Reporting Program. h/t Talking Biz News

Chicago's very own, WGN-TV, has bumped Mike Janssen up to weekend evening news weather forecaster. He replaces Jim Ramsey, who retired from the station in December 2017. Janssen has been with WGN since 2010, and will continue his contributions to CLTV. 

Ellie Merritt has left WCMH-TV, the NBC affiliate for the Columbus, Ohio market. She delivered the news headlines of the day as anchor during the 4pm at 5:30pm newscasts. She also covered healthcare and medical news as medical reporter, and had been with the station since 2008.

The Mary Sue, a blog about  women in geek culture, has said goodbye to assistant editor Teresa Jusino. She spent three years at the outlet covering pop culture, movies and comics. Her last day was June 6. Justino has previously worked for Latina magazine and Incredible Girl. 

Bianca Facchinei has joined Newsy as politics reporter based in Washington, D.C. Previously, she was a reporter with RealVision.com in New York City. Newsy is part of the Scripps news network, and serves as an online video news service that highlights the nuances in reporting for mobile devices and the Web.
