Media Moves at WaPo & iHeartMedia, New Editor in Chief at Xconomy

Douglas MacMillan has joined The Washington Post as a business reporter, covering corporate accountability as part of a new business investigative team. He comes from The Wall Street Journal, where he spent the last three years delving into technology topics at the paper's San Francisco bureau. In the past, he has covered technology for Bloomberg and Businessweek, as well. He will be moving to Washington in March for his new role. h/t TalkingBizNews

iHeartMedia's Top 40 station, WKSC-FM, in Chicago, Illinois has brought on James Howard as program director. In addition to program director duties, he is taking over as senior vice president for the iHeartMedia Chicago cluster, which includes six stations. Howard was most recently head of programming for iHeartMedia's Washington, D.C. cluster of stations. 

Veteran journalist Gregory Huang has been named editor in chief of Xconomy, overseeing the entire national network for the publication. He has been with Xconomy since 2008 as deputy editor. Before that, Huang was a features editor at New Scientist magazine, as well as a senior writer for Technology Review. h/t TalkingBizNews

Entercom Indianapolis, Indiana station WZPL-FM has added assistant program director duties for PM drive time on air personality Dylan Salisbury. Prior to landing in Indianapolis, Salisbury has worked for stations in Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota. 

Aly Presser has moved to iHeartMedia's Grand Rapids, Michigan station WSNX-FM to take up the post of program director and PM drive time on air personality. She comes from another iHeartMedia station, WZEE-FM, where she served as assistant program director and on air personality. In the past, Presser held multiple on-air roles with Zimmer Radio Group stations and E.W. Scripps stations.
