Transport Dive and Supply Chain Dive have added two journalists to their staff:
Catrin Einhorn has joined the Climate desk of The New York Times as a reporter focusing on wildlife and extinction. She comes to the Climate team from the Investigations desk and has been with The Times since 2007. Einhorn started her career in public radio at WBEZ in Chicago, and after five years mostly covering housing and immigration, she became stringer in The Times’s Chicago bureau.
The Washington Post has welcomed Michael Brodeur as classical music critic. For the past decade, he has served as an assistant arts editor and cultural critic for the Boston Globe, overseeing the paper’s Sunday Books section and writing the Globe’s weekly @large column on a range of topics in the arts and digital culture. Before the Globe, he served as music editor and lead music critic for the Boston Phoenix and as editor in chief of Boston's Weekly Dig.
Jack Brewster is the new politics reporter for Forbes. He is also the founder and managing editor of Newsreel, a political news platform for young people. For the past two years, Brewster has also freelanced for VICE Media and Newsweek, and before that covered politics for the Oberlin Review.
NBC News in New York has welcomed Paul Gerke as an anchor. He spent the past three years at NBC-owned KPNX-TV in Phoenix, Arizona, as a morning anchor, and before that worked as sports anchor for WFLA-TV in Tampa, Florida, and as sports director at KIVI-TV in Boise, Idaho, before that.
Chris Lea has joined WRAL-TV, the NBC station in Raleigh, North Carolina as a sports anchor / reporter. He succeeds Jeff Gravley. Lea comes from sister station WXII-TV in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he most recently led the sports desk as an anchor.
