Cision and NewsRight Enter into Digital Licensing Relationship

Enterprise users gain access to original news content from nearly 1,000 digital publications from one convenient, licensed feed with greater business insight for evaluation and relevancy; News providers gain access to a global digital distribution channel supported by usage measurements and related analytics about the use of the content

NEW YORK, October 16, 2012   NewsRight, LLC (www.newsright.com), announces a licensing agreement with Cision (www.cision.com), the leading provider of cloud-based PR software and tools for the marketing and public relations industry. This relationship will allow original news content from nearly 1,000 digital publications to be available for distribution to Cision s enterprise clients for their internal use.

The NewsRight catalog provides content from leading news publishers including Hearst Newspapers, E.W. Scripps, Lee Enterprises, A.H. Belo, Tampa Bay Times and The Christian Science Monitor. Under the arrangement, Cision will also work with NewsRight on data measurements covering the content.

 This arrangement with NewsRight will allow Cision to have access to and use of a broad selection of quality news sources, while providing flexibility and consistency in acquiring additional content and data through a single relationship,  said Dawn Conway, SVP of Global Content Licensing for Cision.  We look forward to working with news content enriched by NewsRight s services,  she added.
