POLITICO Loses Columnist, Gains Senior Reporter

Gossip columnist Kate Glassman Bennett has left POLITICO for Independent Journal. She is serving as White House correspondent. Bennett joined POLITICO in February to cover the social scene of Washington’s key players for her column, The KGB File. She previously worked as fashion editor for the Washingtonian and editor in chief of Washingtonian MOM and Bride & Groom since March 2012. In other POLITICO news, Nancy Cook was hired as a senior reporter. In her role, she will focus on stories pertaining to the business, economics and politics of health care.
