  • Brett Meister has been announced as the new senior vice president of communications for Harlem Globetrotters. He has been with the team for 15 years,  and has grown the annual coverage for the Globetrotters by nearly 507% in the last 5 years.
  • Design by Humans, an online community that is dedicated to buying, designing and celebrating the art of graphic t-shirts, selected BLAZE PR as its agency of record.  BLAZE will drive potential leads through viral communications, focusing on the strength and uniqueness of the brand. The firm also has been named agency of record for Hanger 24 Brewery. BLAZE will target central and southern California while also garnering national exposure for the brand.
  • Award winning journalist, Ronald E. Childs, has announced the formal establishment of his own firm – OMEN Communications in Chicago. OMEN represents a broad array of local, national and international clients and acts as a media relations specialist, digital editorial content provider, social media and public relations strategist, editor, business adviser and agent.
  • MSLGROUP North America has named Shellie Winkler as North America practice director of its health and corporate practices. Winkler comes most recently from Edelman where she was general manager of corporate and public affairs operations for the New York office.  She is located at MSL New York, the flagship office for MSLGROUP North America.
