Chris leads the global product and development teams to build and deliver the Cision platform. His focus is on harnessing our large-scale data to make earned media measurable.
Prior to joining Cision, Copeland was CTO at TrendKite, and SVP Engineering at RetailMeNot, Inc. His professional experience spans 20 years in Austin tech companies across enterprise software, ecommerce, consumer web, data, and data science.
Copeland holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. In his free-time he enjoys traveling, home improvement projects, bootcamp workouts, and chasing after his two young sons.
Nikki Grigsby is the Senior Vice President of Client Experience where she leads a team focused on providing an integrated and enhanced client experience. Her team is committed to helping our clients achieve their desired results and drive their business forward through delivery of world class service, innovative strategies, process standardization and continuous improvement.
Prior to joining Cision, she was the Vice President of Service at ADP, where she held various leadership roles in L&D, Implementation Operations and Services. She also served as the Chair for the International Women’s Inclusion Network business resource group leading initiatives in support of 5000+ members and was awarded the 2017 Women of Distinction award.
In 2019 she was recognized by the Illinois Diversity Council with the Power50 award for inspiring and influencing others to help shape the future. Grigsby believes in authentic leadership, diversity and taking risks as keys to success and is passionate about developing people and fostering leadership opportunities.
With extensive experience in technology sales, Kevin McKeown has spent 20+ years leading teams across services/delivery, pre-sales and sales, as well as being responsible for the hiring and scaling of two separate global teams. At Cision, he is responsible for US new business sales. He joined Cision from TrendKite, where he led global sales.
Prior to joining TrendKite, McKeown led a team at Outbound Engine and ran a worldwide sales and business development at Spiceworks, where he built a sales team of over 100 professionals across the globe. This followed a successful 8-year run at Motive, where he was an early employee, starting in professional services, then evolving into sales engineering, and ultimately sales, where he scaled global sales from zero all the way through a successful IPO.
An engineer by training and Purdue graduate, McKeown enjoys advising early-stage tech companies in Austin.
Prabhakar Gopalan (PG) is a systems thinker with over 20 years hands-on experience in building customer acquisition and retention engines. As SVP of US Customer Operations, he brings a rapid learning and experimentation approach to continuously improve scalable high-quality growth systems at Cision. He joined Cision from TrendKite, where he led customer and revenue operations.
Prior to his tenure role at TrendKite, PG was Principal at his eponymous growth consulting practice advising tech startup CEOs.
PG has an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, a master's degree in MIS from Texas A&M University, and a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surat, India. In his free time, he is a coffeehouse chess player, trail runner, an avid South Indian classical music listener and guilty of Tsundoku.
Sharlene Dozois is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Client Experience at Cision. With more than 20 years of experience, she has held senior-level positions with Airbnb, UPS, Kitco Metals, Rogers Communications and Stack8 Technologies. She has a proven track record of leading marketing and sales innovation at the enterprise level, profit optimization, customer experience and branding.
Dozois holds a degree in business from Concordia University and is based in Montreal.
An experienced managing director and commercial leader, Keir Fawcus has a track record of delivering corporate growth and value. He was one of the founders and Managing Director of Precise Media Group, with responsibility for driving growth in the U.K. and international markets.
Fawcus maintains a strong network across the communications sector and has worked closely with customers and industry organizations to further the aims of the sector in demonstrating value and ROI.
Devon Wijesinghe is the executive leader of the corporate and business development functions at Cision. This includes mergers and acquisitions, business partnerships, data relationships, and strategic alliances.
Wijesinghe was previously the co-founder of e-VERIIFILE, and Insightpool, the latter of which merged with TrendKite and then was acquired by Cision.
Valerie Lopez is Vice President of Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at Cision, where she is responsible for providing vision and leadership to the diversity, inclusion, and equity program across the global organization.
Under her leadership, Cision has seen growth in several new ERG chapters and initiatives including EMPOWER, focused on female leadership, PULSE, dedicated to LGBTQ+, PRIDE month and Global Diversity Awareness month and most recently Embrace, a multicultural resource group raising awareness of the company’s multicultural community. The mission of these ERG groups is to initiate conversations that inspire diverse viewpoints, resulting in colleagues drawing upon each other's unique personal strengths to work toward a common goal.
Lopez holds a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Gender Studies from Indiana University Bloomington. She is a certified diversity professional through the Society for Diversity and is a member of the National Diversity Council, the Illinois Diversity Council and the National Association of Asian American Professionals.
