He also works as a Freelance Journalist, and is interested in climate change, environmental issues, business and finance, but is looking to broaden coverage to other areas.

has joined the Financial Times’s How To Spend It as Acting Commissioning Editor, covering Beatrice Hodgkin's beats while she is on maternity leave. As well as commissioning features and interviews for the magazine, he will be overseeing sections such as The Cause, Past Masters, Cult Shop, The Kudos Project and How I Spend It. Hearst UK has appointed Joanne O’Hara as Head of Homes in the commercial Client team. Joanne will be responsible for driving revenues for Hearst UK across the Homes sector in a wide range of channels including Hearst’s digital, creative solutions, print, performance, event and content offerings across brands including ELLE Decoration, Country Living, House Beautiful, Good Housekeeping, and Red. Joanne has worked for Future, Time Inc and TI Media on some of their biggest homes launches over the past ten years, as well as being responsible for their driving overall commercial revenues across all of their Homes platforms.
