Adam Mansuroglu has joined Men's Health as senior style and gear editor. He comes from BestProducts.com where he spent the last two years as the men's style editor. Prior to that, he was the fashion editor and associate fashion market editor at Cosmopolitan for five years.
Politico has hired Mackenzie Mays as a reporter covering education and the budget for the newly launched Politico California Pro team; she starts Feb. 11. Mays is currently an investigative reporter at the Fresno Bee, and has been on staff with the paper since 2015. Before that, she reported for The Charleston Gazette for three years.
Elisabeth Goodridge has been named deputy travel editor for The New York Times. She was most recently the editorial director in charge of editorial newsletters, working on audience engagement strategy. She has been with The Times since 2008, and also worked as a digital enterprise and breaking news editor on the Washington and Metro desks.
Fox News has tapped Morgan Ortagus as a contributor. She provides commentary on national security, diplomatic relations and politics. Ortagus is a U.S. Navy reserve officer and has a consulting business, Global Opportunity Advisors, a company created to help C Suite decision makers scale their businesses globally.
After 20 years at the New York Post, Jesse Angelo, the paper’s publisher and CEO has left the outlet. News Corp has announced the following appointments:
Jenna Enoch has joined Spectrum News Charlotte as an anchor and reporter. She was previously an anchor/reporter at WJZY-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was reporting under her maiden name, Jenna Caiazzo. Before that, spent a year at WPEC-TV in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Fox-owned KDFW-TV in Dallas has promoted longtime reporter Brandon Todd to morning news anchor. He joins Hanna Battah on the Good Day weekend desk from 4-6 a.m. and continue to report for the newscast from 6-10 a.m. Todd has been with the station since 1998, and before that he worked at WFTX in Fort Myers and Sarasota, Florida.
Lora Painter is the new noon anchor and enterprise reporter at WWMT-TV, the CBS affiliate in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was previously a morning anchor with WILX-TV in Onondaga, Michigan, for two years, and before that spent three yeasr at KDRV-TV in Medford, Oregon, as multimedia journalist and producer.
