The Washington Post has announced staff changes across several teams in the newsroom:

·         Suzanne Goldenberg will become the new Sunday business editor on Sept. 3. She has spent the past two-and-a-half years as an economics and policy editor, overseeing some of our biggest enterprise and news stories across a wide range of beats. Goldenberg joined The Post in 2017 after along run at The Guardian.

·         Damian Paletta will become The Post’s new Economics Editor on Sept.3. He spent the last several years as a writer covering the White House and economic policy and has been on staff since early 2017.  Prior to that, he was a White House reporter for The Wall Street Journal.

·         Peter Jamison has joined the Local Enterprise Team as a reporter. He has been covering D.C. politics and government since he joined The Post in 2016. Prior to that, he was a City Hall reporter at the Los Angeles Times.

Emily Stephenson has joined The Wall Street Journal as an editor on the Politics team in Washington, D.C., and will focus on the 2020 presidential campaign. She started Aug. 19. Stephenson previously spent two years as the news editor at Politico and before that worked for Reuters for several years.

Condé Nast has added yet another title to Anna Wintour’s extensive list of duties. She is now a global content advisor overseeing Vogue International, in addition to her duties as U.S. artistic director and editor in chief of Vogue U.S.  Wintour has been on top Vogue’s masthead since 1988 and has since become one of the most recognized fashion editors in the industry.

Carrigan Miller is the new reporter at Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal covering technology, healthcare and startups. He is a recent graduate of Macalester College, where he served as the editor-in-chief of Macalester's student newspaper. He also spent a semester as an editorial intern at the Business Journal.

ABC’s WTEN-TV in Albany, New York, has promoted Trishna Begam to anchor. She has been with the station since 2012 and started as a weekend reporter. She has also won an Emmy for her work on Trekkin in Ticonderoga.  Prior to WTEN, Begam was a morning reporter at WRDW-TV in Augusta, Georgia.

Anthony "Roach" Proffitt has been promoted to program director and an afternoon host for WXNX-FM in Fort Myers, Florida, upped from assistant PD. He has been with the station since 2013 and before that spent almost a decade at WJBX-FM in Fort Myers.

WEZI-FM in Jacksonville, Florida, has welcomed Ali Mac as a morning host. She was most recently co-host of the “Cadillac Jack & Ali Mac” morning show on Cumulus Country WKHX-FM in Atlanta until January, and before that hosted mornings at WGYL-FM in Vero Beach, Florida.
