Nicole Einbinder has moved to Business Insider as an investigative reporter. She has previously reported for Frontline, the PBS documentary series, and wrote enterprise and long-form investigative pieces on the federal government’s position on reproductive rights, Russian disinformation campaigns, and more.  Before that she was a news and politics fellow at Bustle and reported in women’s rights, politics and general news.

Bloomberg News has announced two staff changes in the Mexico City bureau:

  • Nacha Cattan has been named bureau chief. She covers the Mexican economy and government and joined Bloomberg in 2011. Prior to that, she reported from Mexico on immigration and security for the Associated Press. Cattan has also served as an interim Latin America bureau chief for The Christian Science Monitor.
  • Carlos Rodriguez has shifted to senior editor and handles Spanish language content. He was most recently the bureau chief and has been with Bloomberg in Mexico City since 2009. Prior to that, Rodriguez worked for Bloomberg TV and Univision in Chicago.

Frederick Gabriel will return to Crain’s New York Business as a publisher and executive editor on Dec. 2. He will oversee the content and business operations of the publication. Gabriel is currently the editorial director of Investment News and has been on staff since 1999, when he joined as a reporter. He first worked at Crain’s New York Business from 1994 to 1998 as a reporter.

PureWow has tapped Candace Braun Davison as executive editor. She spent the last eight years at Hearst Magazines, where most recently she served as the deputy editor for House Beautiful. Braun Davison has also served as the web editor for O Magazine, senior editor for, and associate editor for Verdana.

Meredith Corporation has launched a long-form newsletter titled NSFW(ish), covering sex, love, wellness, culture and relationships for millennial women. Maria Del Russo pens the newsletter and also curates top content form Meredith’s women’s style and wellness brands, like Shape, Health, Hello Giggles and InStyle.

The Washington Post has recruited two contributors for its Opinions section:

  • Juliette Kayyem has joined as a contributor and gives readers insight on national security issues. She served as President Obama’s assistant secretary of intergovernmental affairs at the Department of Homeland Security and is a professor at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
  • P.J. O’Rourke has joined as a contributor and will contribute satirical commentary on politics. He is a political satirist and the editor in chief of the online magazine American Consequences. Previously, O’Rourke was a foreign correspondent for Rolling Stone and the Atlantic.
