Cision is looking for a senior leader from our Enterprise Architecture Function. This role requires a blend of architecture experience, executive polish, business sense, and especially technical depth. As the Principal Enterprise Architect, you will be hands-on in crafting our strategy for managing and optimizing our entire application portfolio across global Cision. Develop Business Capability, Application Rationalization Roadmap and help integrate acquired companies in the future. Co-Own the responsibility for Enterprise Architecture Governance, IT Strategy Planning and Architecture Driven Project Spin offs.  

You will help sets direction over the longer term and helps drive planning discussions. It articulates the context, priorities, and plans that set the boundary conditions and roadmap for the development of Reference and Solution Architectures over the prescribed period. 

Competencies & Experience:

  • Proven track record of identifying, targeting, and delivering business outcomes. 
  • Understands market trends and how they apply to multiple functional domains. 
  • Drives business process optimization as part of need identification and implementation. 
  • Considered a trusted advisor to the IT Exec Leadership Team  
  • Has experience delivering global results with little to no direction. 
  • Was the driving force for the well-being of overall IT App Portfolio of a global company or a Line Of Business 
  • Your actions had direct impact on the KPI’s that represent success for their organization or business unit. 
  • Seen as the person to help bridge the gap between IT and the business. 
  • Functioned as a Vanguard, identified emerging technology that can created a differentiation for the whole business/function  
  • Keeps the focus of the team by taking conceptual technical design and breaking it into executable parts to be handed off to next level architecture. 
  • Drives application consolidation by understand the functions in a given portfolio. 
  • Has the ability to align culture, skills, and methods across the architectural disciplines. 
  • Manages and owns strategic relationships with vendors that are key to the portfolio. 
  • Has multi-sourcing experience to manage and leverage SLA’s with service providers for maximized savings 
  • Understands regulatory and risk impact of a given company and able to minimize that risk using People, Process, Technology, Data and Appropriate Policy Development and Enforcement
