David Jeans has joined Forbes as a reporter on the technology team. He was previously a reporter for the Real Deal and before that worked as a freelance reporter for The New York Times, Associated Press, VICE News, Marshall Project, and other outlets.

Business Insider has welcomed Sean Czarnecki as a reporter covering the public relations industry. He comes from PR Week where he spent the past four years as a corporate reporter. Before that, Czarnecki was a city beat reporter for the Hobbs News Sun in New Mexico.

Nate Doughty is a new digital producer for The Pittsburgh Business Times, succeeding Luke Torrance. Doughty has previously interned at or the Business Times and has also worked for the Observer-Reporter in Pennsylvania, and The New Political in Ohio.

Lifehacker, Gizmodo Media Group's site dedicated to simplifying and organizing one's life, has named Joel Cunningham as managing editor. He is also a writer for Fatherly and has previously spent seven years as an editor for Barnes & Noble. Cunningham has also worked as a media marketing coordinator.

Neal Morton has joined The Hechinger Report as  a reporter covering education for Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming; he is based in Seattle. He was previously an education lab reporter for the Seattle Times and has also covered education for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, San Antonio Express-New, and The Monitor.

WFOR-TV, the CBS affiliate in Miami, has hired Jessica Vallejo as a reporter. She has previously worked for the new-defunct Verizon Fios1 News in Long Island, New York and KMID-TV in Texas before that.  

Brian Miller is a new anchor/ reporter for WEVV-TV, the CBS/Fox/MyNetwork TV station in Evansville, Indiana. He has spent the past two years working for a non-profit in Chicago, and before that worked at several stations including WTVW-TV in Evansville, Indiana.
