The Wall Street Journal has promoted three editors to key positions for its worldwide coverage of the energy industry. Elena Cherney has been promoted to global energy editor for the newspaper. She will continue to serve in her capacity as the newspaper’s Toronto bureau chief. The Wall Street Journal also announced that Miguel Bustillo has been appointed to U.S. energy editor. He had been working as deputy bureau chief and Western U.S. news editor out of the newspaper’s Dallas bureau. Bustillo will relocate to Houston later this year. Michael Amon has also been promoted from the title of resources editor to energy editor for Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
