CNN has tapped Jessica Schneider to serve as a correspondent, starting April 11. She will be based out of the network’s New York bureau. Schneider had most recently served as a reporter for WCBS-TV (New York) since December 2011. In her new role, she will report on general assignment stories in addition to working with the crime and justice team as contributor. Additionally, Boris Sanchez will be departing CNN’s New York bureau to head to Miami as a correspondent. He fills the role vacated by Alina Machado. Sanchez has been with CNN since 2015, and had previously worked at Fox affiliate KDVR-TV (Denver). For the top news stories from around the world, follow CNN on Twitter.
