After ceasing publication back in 2009, Metropolitan Home is re-launching this month under the guidance and leadership of Newell Turner, Hearst Design Group editor. The title, previously owned by Hachette, was acquired by Hearst in 2011. Turner has noted that millennials and Gen Xers are now buying homes, but there are few design publications that target this demographic. The new inception of the magazine will features profiles of home design personalities, and focus on both decorating and lifestyle content.
