Margaret Russell has left her position as editor in chief for Architectural Digest, and will continue to serve as a consultant for special projects. Russell joined Architectural Digest in September of 2010. Prior to that, she was the editor in chief of brand content for Elle Decor.

Amy Astley has been named as Russell’s replacement at the publication. She joins from Teen Vogue where she served as founding editor since 1993. For more news from the world of architectural design, follow Architectural Digest of Twitter and “Like” on Facebook.
