CisionScoop: Marie Claire social media editor, Rosa Heyman, has moved to Cosmopolitan.com as senior editor of content strategy for the magazine’s digital platform. Prior to Marie Claire, Heyman was the engagement editor for People magazine.

CisionScoop: The Atlantic has brought on Adam Harris as a staff writer, covering higher education with a focus on inequality. He comes from The Chronicle of Higher Education, where he covered breaking news as a reporter. 

Additionally at The Atlantic, Hannah Giorgis will join its culture team as a staff writer. She is currently special projects editor for The Ringer. Giorgis starts her new position May 1.

HuffPost has made a number of additions to its editorial staff including:

  • ThinkProgress investigative reporter, Yvette Cabrera will move to the HuffPost San Francisco bureau April 9. She will report on environmental justice. In the past, Cabrera contributed to the Guardian U.S., Voice of OC and Mission and State. 
  • Molly Redden will start at the magazine April 9 as a political reporter. Redden most recently worked at the Guardian as a senior reporter, as well as Mother Jones and The New Republic as a staff writer. 
  • Huffpost Highline contributor, Michael Hobbes, will become a full-time reporter, covering economic trends April 9. He will be based in Seattle, and will continue contributing to Highline in his new position. 

Bloomberg reporter Adam Satariano will move to The New York Time‘s London bureau as a technology correspondent. Satariano was with Bloomberg for over 11 years, and was a reporter for Congressional Quarterly previously.

Forbes reporter Matt Drange is leaving the magazine to join The Information investigative news team, covering money and power in Silicon Valley. Drange has previously reported for The Center for Investigative Reporting, The Bay Citizen and California Watch. h/t Talking Biz News

Ben Collins, most recently a senior news editor at The Daily Beast, joined NBC Television Network as a national reporter. Before The Daily Beast, Collins was an editor for Esquire Magazine and Hulu. 

Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that Jenny Roth has passed away. Roth was a blogger for The Wall Street Journal’s MoneyBeat, where she covered stocks and stock markets for the Stocks to Watch section. Roth started at Dow Jones in 2001 as an editorial assistant for Newswire. Throughout her sixteen years there, she held numerous positions including copy reader, copy editor and interactive news writer. h/t Talking Biz News

LinkedIn Blog has brought on Devin Banerjee as senior news editor, covering financial news. Banerjee came from Bloomberg News, where he was a news and deals editor and investigative reporter. Prior to that, he was with The Wall Street Journal as a staff reporter. 

Newsweek reporter Chris Riotta moved to Mediate as its weekend editor, covering media and politics. In the past, Riotta has covered immigration for the International Business times, culture and entertainment, as well as breaking news for Mic.
