Cision’s research department makes over 20,000 media updates to our influencer database each day! Here are the latest moves to keep your media lists up to date and on point. CisionScoop: Christopher Rosen moved to Radio.com as editorial director. He comes from Entertainment Weekly, where he served as executive editor since 2015. Before EW, Rosen was the entertainment editor for HuffPost and senior editor for Movieline.

CisionScoop: bon appétit welcomed Food & Wine associate restaurant editor Elyse Inamine as its digital restaurant editor. Inamine was previously with Tasting Table as an editor, and Food & Wine as an editorial assistant.

Indianapolis Star editor Jeff Taylor was named executive editor for news at USA Today. In addition to his role at IndyStar, which he assumed in 2012, Taylor served as Midwest regional editor for the USA Today Network. Prior to that, he was with the Detroit Free Press as senior managing editor.

The Atlantic hired Christi Parsons to lead its newly formed Talent Lab as senior editor. In this role, Parsons will help ensure the quality of editorial hiring and retention. Prior to The Atlantic, Parsons was with The Los Angeles Times for ten years as a White House correspondent.

Former Dr. Drew producer Burt Dubrow joined Daily Blast Live as executive producer. Dubrow has held the executive producer title for a number of shows including, GSN Live, Jerry Springer, It’s Christopher Lowell and the Sally Jessey Raphael show.

MediaShift executive editor Mark Glasner announced that the publication shifted out of editorial and into training, events, and the MediaShift Studio, which produces content for third parties. MediaShift was a blog that tracked how digital media technologies, including blogs, RSS, podcasting, citizen journalism, wikis, news aggregators and video repositories changed the world. It offered news and stories concerning the changing media landscape and provided readers with a place for public participation and feedback.

Nessa Diab was named the new host of Talk Stoop on the New York NBC affiliate station WNBC-TV. Diab was previously the host of Nessa On Air WQHT-FM in New York.

The following staff changes are underway at the Las Vegas Review-Journal:

  • Editor in chief J. Keith Moyer has added publisher to his title. In the past, Moyer served as publisher for the Star Tribune and The Fresno Bee, as well as en editor for the Democrat and Chronicle and the Arkansas Gazette.
  • As J. Keith Moyer steps into the role of publisher, former publisher Craig Moon steps down and into retirement. Moon’s career spanned over twenty years, with stints as publisher for The News-Press, the Arkansas Gazette and USA Today.
  • Managing editor Glenn Cook was promoted to executive editor and vice president of news for the paper. Cook started at the Review-Journal in 1996, and during his tenure there he has served as a copy editor, senior writer, and editor.

FOX Sports San Diego brought on Shannon Shepherd as a producer. She comes from Buffalo, New York CBS affiliate WIVB-TV where she was a sports reporter. Prior to that, she was a sports reporter for WYSR-TV in Syracuse, New York and WSAW-TV in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Judy Miller, the managing editor of the South Florida Business Journal, announced she is leaving the publication on May 4. Miller previously worked as managing editor for the Miami Herald, as well as the deputy city editor for the San Francisco Chronicle. h/t Talking Biz News
