With more than 25 years of experience, Smith has solidified her position as an expert in crisis communications by serving as a public relations consultant for some of the most historic and sensational events of our time, including the prosecution of former Washington, D.C. Mayor Marion Barry, President Clinton s impeachment, and the Enron congressional inquiry. Before founding her crisis management firm, Smith & Company, Smith served as the deputy press secretary to President George H. W. Bush. Her high-profile client work and crisis communications expertise served as the inspiration for the creation of the hit show  Scandal  and its protagonist Olivia Pope. She developed the company s corporate content strategy, and built its blog and Twitter platforms into global channels. In her  The View From Twitter  session, she will teach Demand Success attendees how to perform corporate communications in a socially networked world.

Co-founder of JESS3, a regular contributor to NPR and Forbes, and chief operating officer of Guide, Bradshaw will offer methodologies and actionable tips to visualize data and stories with infographics, video and more during her conference session.

Demand Success 2014 is a two-day marketing and public relations conference taking place on June 5-6, 2014 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Emmy-nominated HBO series  Entourage  star Adrian Grenier and Avinash Kaushik, co-founder of Market Motive and Google digital marketing evangelist, will also both serve as keynote speakers.
