Rob Kelly WYSZ-FM
Rob Kelly, assistant program director / producer / on-air personality
Rob Kelly produces WYSZ’s weekday morning-drive program, “AM Mayhem,” which airs from 6 to 9 a.m. He is also on the air weekdays from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. He says his programs target a broad audience, including “home-schooled kids that are 10 to 12 years old and moms that are 35 [to] 45” as well as folks driving to work. Kelly also notes the station’s broadcast signal reaches a large part of the state, including listeners as far south as Dayton, Ohio, as well as those in areas east of Toledo. “We try not to keep it too localized,” he says. “We try to generalize it as far as state issues.” Press releases may cover anything from “authors and their books to what’s going on politically,” he adds. Pitch him by e-mail. A follow-up call is welcome. Send press materials one week in advance.
WYSZ-FM is a non-commercial Christian music station broadcasting from Toledo, Ohio.
