New #Demand13 Sessions Added!
The Demand Success 2013 conference line up is rapidly solidifying. Last month we announced Wendy Harman‘s Lessons Learned from the Social Media Command Center and Ike Pigott‘s Brand Journalism sessions. This month we have several more new sessions to announce.
Before we begin, Demand Success aims to provide attendees detail intelligence about how great marketing happens, specifically how digital tools work together to generate leads and build brand awareness. Unlike past Vocus Conferences, Demand Success 13 is open to the public.
With that, here are your new sessions:
Keynote Session: “Likeonomics: Why Likeability Is The Ultimate Competitive Edge”
Rohit Bhargava, author of the #1 bestseller Likeonomics, will discuss how every day great world changing ideas fail. What if the greatest secret to great leadership had very little to do with ideas at all? In this talk, based on his bestselling book Likeonomics, participants will learn the art of crafting more successful relationships through the often misunderstood quality of being more likeable.
Rohit joins announced keynotes Arianna Huffington and Altimeter Group’s Jeremiah Owyang to lead our discussions.
CLOSING PANEL: Facebook Futures
Author and former Vocus Keynote Geoff Livingston will lead an all-star panel about the future of Facebook to close Demand Success. Much has changed since the company went public: competitors with decreased results on fan pages, higher charges to get found, and increased competition in the news feed. Our panelists COO and CSO of Network for Good Katya Andresen, Vice President of Communications for General Dynamics Information Technology Mark Meudt, and Vice President of Digital Marketing of The Bozzuto Group Shashi Bellamkonda will debate Facebook’s future.
Beyond Scoring: Reversing the Social Influence Model
Danny Brown, Chief Technologist, ArCompany, will be arriving to discuss his soon to be released book, Influence Marketing. While brand awareness has been increased, there are few examples of true success stories for social scoring-led campaigns. Danny will explain how real influence places the customer at the heart of the marketing circle.
The New SEO of Content Marketing
Big Leap Creative Founder and former Spin Sucks Editor Lisa Gerber will talk about the evolution of SEO and how online communicators now lead the way for companies to get found. Learn how smart Google is getting, find out what semantic search is, learn how to write good content, and how to optimize it to be found. This session is filled with practical takeaways and how-to’s.
Crowdsource the Future of Marketing Software
Have you ever thought that this social sharing platform needs more connectivity to email? Or how can convert a blog post to snippets more effectively? Or, geez, when can I connect Twitter interactions to my sales database? Well this is your opportunity to bring your best marketing software ideas to the table. The Vocus Product Marketing Team will lead a crowdsource visioning exercise to see what we the market needs most from its marketing software.
