Bill Keller to Depart NYT for Nonprofit Venture
Bill Keller, op-ed writer for The New York Times and columnist for The New York Times Magazine, will step down in March to assume the role of editor in chief at the Marshall Project, a nonprofit journalistic venture that will examine the American criminal justice system. Keller was formerly NYT’s executive editor from July 2003 to September 2011. He has been with the paper since 1984. Become a part of the latest discussions on NYT’s Facebook page.
