Recap: How “Data In, Data Out” Will Revolutionize Social Marketing
Thanks to all who joined the “Data In, Data Out” webinar with Viralheat CEO Jeff Revoy and guest speaker Nate Elliott, VP and principal analyst at Forrester Research, Inc. At the end of the hour attendees understood two things: 1) “data in” will revolutionize social publishing; and 2) “data out” will revolutionize social measurement. In order to revolutionize social marketing using data, it’s important to remember these four points:
- Sourcing – identifying influencers, understanding conversations, determining successful social channels
- Timing – following conversations, intelligent publishing, understanding the life of a post/tweet
- Smart Promotions – track ROI of campaign in Google Analytics, cross channel reports compare network performance
- Automation – lowered cost of ownership, enterprise integrations (CRM, support, HR)
