Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Names George Stanley Editor
George Stanley, managing editor and vice president of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, will become the paper’s editor in February 2015. He steps into the role following the departure of Martin “Marty” Kaiser, who has led the publication since 1997. Stanley has served in his current role since January 1997, and previously served as business editor since 1993, joining the staff as state reporter in December 1989. Prior to this, he worked for The Wichita (KS) Eagle and Lake Geneva (WI) Regional News. Prior to joining the Sentinel, Kaiser had worked at the Baltimore Sun, where he joined in 1984, and the Chicago Sun-Times, where he joined in 1977. See the well wishes for Kaiser on Facebook.
