Two Join Slate Politics

Slate has announced two additions to its politics team. Jamelle Bouie has been named chief political correspondent for the site. Bouie was most recently a staff writer for Slate. He replaces John Dickerson, who was named host of CBS’ Face the Nation in April. New to Slate is Jim Newell, who joins Slate’s Washington bureau later this month. Newell was most recently a politics writer for Salon. For in-depth coverage of politics, as well as news, arts, tech, business and more, follow Slate on Twitter and ‘Like’ on Facebook.
