KIRO-TV Reporter Chris Legeros Passes Away

Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that Chris Legeros, general assignment reporter for KIRO-TV, has passed away after a yearlong battle with cancer. He had been with the station since February 1983. Before that, he served as an anchor and reporter for KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa since 1977. He also worked at KCMT-TV in Alexandria, Minnesota from 1975 to 1977. Over the course of his career, Legeros received three Emmy Awards, as well as awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, Washington Education Association, Associated Press, Best of the West and the United Press International.
