Over the years, Cision (and its constituent companies) have held a variety of events, whether that be media briefings, panel events, roundtable breakfasts and a host of others.
Last year, as you hopefully all know by now, we upped the stakes by hosting a full day comms congress; #CommsCon18. It was a venture into the unknown for us, so we were delighted that almost 1,000 communicators came and joined what we billed as the “earned media revolution”.
We’re building on CommsCon’s success this year by developing three events in the franchise. As well as the main day in November, we’re also hosting two themed half-day sessions on insights and influencers, so we can really delve into the topics which form the day-to-day of PR professionals.
The first of our triumvirate of events is CommsCon X Insights, on Tuesday 25 June.
Something which we think is integral to the CommsCon series is using venues which are a bit different to the standard hotels or conference centres which make up the comms events calendar.
That’s why we’re delighted that CommsCon X Insights is going to be at the Ministry of Sound! I’ve never been, and I’m sure a lot of you haven’t been during the day, so that in itself should be a great experience.
However, an event shouldn’t just be about the venue, so we’ve enlisted some great speakers to ensure that CommsCon X Insights gives you exactly that: insights.
While the event will certainly touch upon measurement and evaluation, we’ve designed the sessions to be broader than that. After all, we’ve just had the best measurement event there is in the AMEC Global Summit, so trying to match three days-worth of measurement into a half-morning event would be silly.
It’s why the half-day is dedicated to “insights”. An insight can be many things; such as listening to and interpreting how your social audience reacts to your storytelling, or using new tools to assess the topics which your organisation should be engaging with.
Our varied agenda covers everything from the use of artificial intelligence in both comms and the rest of society, demonstrating the value of social storytelling, case studies on insights helping communicators to tailor their comms strategies and what the future of insights tools will look like.
If you want a morning of learning, of knowledge sharing, of insights – all for free – then register for CommsCon X Insights using the button below. We’ll see you there!
