We’ve seen restaurants, florists, candy shops and more taking to PRWeb in the run-up to St. Valentine’s Day, hoping to spread the word and attract customers. Here are five of our favorite holiday-themed releases from this past week. Enjoy!
This release spots an unlikely trend and provides stats to back their claim. It’s a newsworthy way to promote this chain’s “practical” products, which they link to in the opening paragraph.
In this release, branding agency CBX promotes its new online survey by listing the top ten national brands consumers love. Well played, CBX!
Gift ideas are always a great bit of content around the holidays. Thrift Town provides a list of gifts here — all of which can be found at one of their stores — and includes a video as well.
Jenny Craig’s gift list is specific to their brand and is helpful to customers. This is the kind of content that consumers value and the headline is concise, snappy and inclusive.
Here’s a fun and very sharable story. They’ve also to put anchor text links — links embedded into the flow of the story with no ‘.com’ or ‘www’ — in the first two paragraphs, sending people to their Facebook page and website.
