Staff Changes at LA Times
The Los Angeles Times has announced staff changes. Foreign editor Mark Porubcansky has exited after 16 years at the publication. Former national editor Kim Murphy replaces him in her new role as assistant managing editor for national and foreign news. Additionally, former metro editor Shelby Grad has been named assistant managing editor for California and metro news. He succeeds Ashley Dunn who is moving to the national desk. Also, Brandi Grissom is joining the paper this month as enterprise editor of investigative news. She previously served as managing editor for the Texas Tribune. Lastly, Washington correspondent Richard Simon has retired from the paper after 34 years.
